President Anne F. Harris and her husband, Professor of Art History Michael Mackenzie, have created the Emmett and Pierrette Harris Endowed Scholarship, which honors Harris鈥 parents and benefits under-resourced students at 果冻视频 College.

Ruth P. Feingold will join 果冻视频 College on July 1 as Vice President for Academic Affairs and Dean of the College. She will also hold the rank of professor in the department of English with contributions to Gender, Women鈥檚, and Sexuality Studies. Dr. Feingold currently serves as Dean the College and Dean of the Faculty of Arts & Sciences at Willamette University in Salem, OR.

Celebrated author, poet, and University of Georgia professor LeAnne Howe visited the 果冻视频 College campus in early April. She presented a Scholars鈥 Convocation and led a writers鈥 workshop.

Catherine Stone 鈥22 came to 果冻视频 excited about the small classes, the close relationships with faculty, and the powerful student voice. She quickly became involved in the community and with 果冻视频 Concerts. While working her way toward medical school, she has also immersed herself in the environment through ecology courses, and in language and culture through French courses.
On Earth Day 2025, the Center for Prairie Studies sponsored an event at Arbor Lake for 果冻视频ians who wanted to learn about what鈥檚 in Iowa鈥檚 rivers and streams.
