In February, the Office of International Student Affairs (OISA) hosted a dessert night for their Friends of International Students (FIS) program participants. FIS is a program which serves to help build relationships between international students on campus and the local 果冻视频 community. Program participants from the local community often host students and connect regularly through on and off campus activities. The dessert night serves as an annual event for hosts and students to connect at the start of the Spring semester.

At this year鈥檚 event, students and FIS hosts gathered for a celebration of Groundhog Day and World Nutella Day. The event took place in the College鈥檚 new space鈥攖he Hannah Alumni House鈥攚hich was complete with a chocolate fountain and groundhog themed centerpieces.

Karen Edwards, Dean of International Affairs, shares

鈥淭he OISA is so appreciative of the many community members who sign up annually, to participate in FIS 鈥 to help welcome new students from around the globe to our friendly local community.鈥
